Kiwi Wallet

Kiwi Drop now allows users to preload money into the Kiwi Wallet. This money can be used to purchase products and fulfill orders, and cannot be withdrawn. We know the potential for credit cards being flagged for assumed fraud during a high-volume live sale with auto-checkout enabled, so our Kiwi Wallet preload feature is designed to fix this. To view your wallet, go to https://app.kiwidrop.com/kiwi-wallet.

Preloading Credits

You may preload credits into the Kiwi Wallet via your credit card or a linked bank account. You may want to add credits to your Kiwi Wallet if you want to have an easily accessible payment method, or have encountered repeated issues with your credit card. Kiwi Credits can be used just like money in KiwiDrop's system. To preload, simply press "Preload Credits"

Currently we support using either a credit card or a linked bank to preload credit, so you will need to add a card or link a valid bank account to KiwiDrop. If you preload with your bank, you will also be able to enjoy an extra 1% when you preload to your wallet.

How to preload

  1. Select an amount from the selection above, or input a custom amount into the "Preload amount" field.
  2. Choose a bank in the "Pay from" section. If you do not have a credit card or a linked bank account yet, please press "Add a payment method”
  3. Once you have selected the amount desired from the chosen payment method, press preload and the transaction will be complete.

Auto Reload

If you prefer to use Kiwi Wallet as your main payment method, you can set up Auto Reload to automatically reload Credits into your Wallet when it reaches below a certain amount you can set.

How to set up auto reload

  1. Turn on "Auto Reload"
  2. Set a "When below" value to indicate a lower threshold that your Kiwi Wallet is allowed to reach.
  3. Set a "Reload to" value to indicate an amount you would like to reload your Kiwi Wallet to when it reaches the "When below" value. This value must be greater than the When below value.
  4. Choose a payment method to be charged from. Just like with normally preloading credits, you may use either a credit card or a linked bank account. If you do not have one yet, please press "Add a payment method”

For example

  • If you have set When below to $30, and Reload to $100, and your wallet reaches to $29, we will automatically recharge it to $100, which is a $71 charge.

Keep in mind that even though this is automatic, there will be a processing time if you choose to use your linked bank to auto reload.

Auto Apply at Checkout

You may want to use KiwiDrop's Kiwi Wallet to pay for all of your orders. In this case, you may want to enable “Auto apply at checkout” which will set the default selection at checkout to using the Kiwi Wallet.

Enabling this will automatically use your Kiwi wallet instead of your default payment method if your Kiwi Wallet has enough funds to cover the entire order.

For example:

  • Order 1 is $40.00, and your Wallet has $50.00, we will use your wallet to cover the order.
  • Order 2 is $70.00, and your Wallet has $50.00, we will not use your wallet to cover the order, and instead use your default payment method.

Processing Times

ACH preload

There will be a standard 3-4 day processing time from when you preload funds to your Kiwi Wallet to when they are available to use on KiwiDrop

Credit card preload

There will be no processing time from when you preload funds to your Kiwi Wallet.
