Using Drops Soon to Drive Demand

Drops Soon is a feature that allows sellers to create excitement for a new listing before it becomes available to purchase. Benefits of Drops Soon include:

• Forecast potential demand
• Attract loyal customers
• Make sales

To create a Drops Soon listing

In the web/app

• Tap Sell
• Select Availability

• Select Drops
• Choose a time
• Select Apply
• Fill in the rest of the information required to publish your listing

Note that although the Drop Time must be within 7 days from the date you create the listing, you can always push the Drop Time to a later date by editing the listing if you haven’t accumulated many likers on the listing. Each time you edit the listing, you can push the Drop Time by another 7 days, and you can always mark the listing as available when the listing has enough likers. 

However, for a listing that has already been available, you can’t change it back to Drops Soon state, but you can Copy Listing by choosing ‘Copy Listing’ on the listing edit page. Once a copied listing has been created, you can update the Availability to Drops Soon again.
